Outlook for the Future

The sudden contraction of the market for optical devices has come to a halt and we are adding diversity and vigor to our product lineup in the run-up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The field of sensor-equipped cameras is undergoing massive growth due to the rapid advances in autonomous vehicle technology.
The technology our Group possesses in manufacturing highly complex molds is an advantage in the fabrication of high-precision on-vehicle camera holders and other such equipment. We are working with optical device manufacturers to win more orders in the field of sensor-equipped camera components for automobiles, an area in which future growth is anticipated. Furthermore, we are devoting energy to opening up opportunities pertaining to components for the diversified products (office equipment) made by optical device manufacturers. Meanwhile, we are working to cut costs in our mold manufacturing processes and to automate and streamline production processes, and are endeavoring to offer a steady supply of products.
